Shipping & Returns

Hampshire Custom Rods handcrafts every rod to the customer’s specifications. These are bespoke/custom-made goods.

 

Shipping

 

Rods are shipped UK-wide (tracked & signed-for courier 24hr service approx £35) and internationally (quoted at checkout, insured for higher values).

Goods are packaged in strong, padded boxes or tubes.

Risk passes on handover to carrier.

Report visible transit damage within 24 hours of delivery for assistance/collection.

 

Cancellations & Returns

 

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, there is no right to cancel for bespoke/personalised goods made to your specifications.

 

No returns or refunds for change of mind, personal preference, or after use.

 

Exceptions (Consumer Rights Act 2015):

• Goods must be of satisfactory quality, as described, and fit for purpose.

• If faulty or not as described, contact us within 30 days of delivery with photos/details. We will repair (usual remedy), replace (if possible), or refund (including original delivery) after inspection.

• Transit damage reported within 24 hours → free collection, repair or remake.

• Long-term rights apply (up to 6 years England/Wales, 5 years Scotland) for faults present at delivery, usually limited to repair/partial refund after 30 days.

 

Pre-build cancellation


• You may cancel for a full refund within 48hrs.
• Once blanks/guides/components have been ordered/purchased or work has commenced, cancellation is not possible and deposits are non-refundable.
