The ST 12ft blank has been designed to give you the up most confidence in all fishing situations while withstanding whatever you can throw at them.

That doesn't mean they aren't forgiving, the special taper has been designed to give you the forgiveness you need to avoid bumping fish off under the rod tip, but with a butt section full of power, ensuring you can hit the distances required with big leads and bags, with pinpoint accuracy.

The special taper results in a semi-fast action with progressive curve, which aids casting by helping you get into the butt section quicker.
